Q - Who is Prescription Hope?
A - We are a service based organization. We are not an online pharmacy. We work directly with each Pharmaceutical Companies Patient Assistance Programs. We assist you in the administrative process that the Pharmaceutical Companies require to receive their medication.
Q - How much does the Prescription Hope Program Cost?
A - The only cost associated with the program is a $7 per prescription per month service fee. There are no application fees, no other medication cost, no hidden costs.
Q
- Am I getting my actual drug prescribed or a generic form of it?
A - All drugs are filled as prescribed by your doctor if offered
under the program.
Q - How many different medications
are offered under the program?
A - Over 1,500 brand name medications are offered under
the program.
Q - What happens if my medication is
not offered under the program?
A - If this should happen, you simply notify your doctor who, in
many cases, may be able to prescribe an alternate
drug that will qualify.
Q - If I am receiving drugs under this
program, can my spouse be considered as well?
A - Yes, as long as he or she fills out a separate enrollment application.
Q - How long should I expect
from my date of application to the time I can pick up my
medications from my doctor?
A - Prescription Hope will act quickly to be sure you receive your
medication in about 4-6 weeks.
Q -
Is there a limit to the number of medications I can receive under
the program?
A - No, as long as all medications are prescribed for you by your
physician.
Q -
How will I know when to renew my medications?
A - With Prescription Hopes automated three step renewal system,
we make sure that your next supply of medication will arrive on
time.
Q - What if I have insurance coverage either through my recent
employer, or I have insurance that has a prescription benefit on
it, would I qualify under this program?
A - No. Any prescription insurance coverage, other than an HMO that has prescription
coverage, disqualifies you from this program.
Q
- Can I still take part even if I have prescription coverage
through my HMO?
A - Yes. Most HMO's have a prescription limit. All we need is an
exhaustion letter from your HMO provider stating that you have used
up your prescription benefit.
Q - Can I participate in this
program if I have Medicare?
A - Yes. You can be on regular Medicare. However, if you are enrolled in Medicare Part D prescription coverage we will be unable to assist you.
Q - Can I participate in this
program if I have a prescription discount card?
A - Yes. A discount card does not disqualify you from the program.
Q - How are my medications delivered?
A - Your medications usually are delivered in a 3 months supply directly to your home or to your doctors office.
